Bio

Hello. Thought I’d re-write this as the first one was a bit… you know. As a kid I always wanted to be an animator and draw cartoons. Luckily when I finished school I got the chance! I did my training and worked in that environment for four years. By then my interest in art had broadened considerably and I went to art college to develop other skills. Since then I have been working from my home in the Isle of Man gradually building my business and reputation. This is where I’m at now. You are now up to date.

As a young Manx artist I’m totally influenced by the heritage around me. The Island features in much of my work in all sorts of ways from songs and interlacing, through language, to locations and of course the T.T. races! I also love to produce artwork with a music base. A lot of my stuff is inspired by music itself, often including lyrics, poetry, song titles or actually being for bands themselves. Each piece tends to involve a huge amount of detail with some hidden extras in there to keep it interesting.
I work in pen and ink mostly, but also in vibrant colours. I like to experiment with inks and paints as well as other materials getting different textures and finding new ways to layer colours. I also work on canvas as well as producing conventional framed pieces. I accept commissions for all types of artwork including album covers, posters, advertisements etc. So if you have an idea or just want some art for your wall, don’t hesitate to get in touch and we can work something out.

Thanks for reading!
