From what I can remember, this idea started off as a lunchtime mess. Back when I used to have an hour for lunch where I would pause whatever I was actually working on and just draw something for fun. Seems crazy to write that as I tend to not draw for fun anymore as EVERYTHING has become so monetary based! Everything has to have a purpose and be for sale, it’s difficult to just draw because you want to. They were good times though and I should start it again as it threw up ground breaking ideas like the monstrosity below.
I can’t remember if it was the Manx Metallica or the Kipper ‘Em All idea which I had first. I know that Kipper ‘Em All makes no sense whatsoever but if you say it a few times it kind of becomes passable and vaguely like a thing. I remember it being received ok, or at least not hated so that was enough for me, to many years later, re-do the lettering a bit less shit.
It’s still just a bit of fun but I thought I’d get a few printed up as stickers to A) see how they look in actual real life and B) give away in any orders from the shop (till stocks last). If there’s any demand for them, I’ll get some more printed up to sell. If you have a look on the ‘Work’ part of the site and see the ‘Enter Manxman’ post, there are other colours and styles that could be fun to get made up.
